Madi Allen is a local musician in Calgary. Voice, piano, and guitar being her main instruments, she studied vocal performance in pop and contemporary Jazz at MacEwan University in Edmonton. She then went on to receive her Bachelors degree in Music Therapy from Capilano University in North Vancouver.

As a certified Music Therapist, Madi spends her days facilitating music therapy sessions with a variety of populations around the city. By focusing on cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, and physical needs, she uses music as the main tool to address these goals. Madi works for JB Music Therapy in Calgary.

As a performer, Madi takes requests, and sings/plays at Calgary’s very own Aussie Rules Duelling Piano Bar. She also offers her musical services at weddings, special events, and sings with various cover bands across Alberta.

Because of her work as a music therapist, and her position at duelling piano bars, Madi possesses a vast repertoire, as well as the ability to swiftly learn almost any song. Whether it is a vibrant pop hit, or a soulful blues ballad, Madi's musical adaptability knows no bounds.

Madi is considered to be a conscientious and empathetic performer. She has always possessed an ability to truly grasp the profound impact that certain songs may hold for individuals. Whether she's singing them or learning them, Madi inherently understands the deep connection that people have with certain melodies and lyrics. Channelling the collective emotions and experiences that these songs encapsulate, she infuses her performances with authenticity and raw emotion. Madi's love for both performing, and human connection, as well as her bubbly personality all lend to her high quality performance that leave her audiences, and clients feeling fulfilled and seen.
